Thanksmas
Thanksmas is our annual holiday celebration—a signature event that brings joy and hope to hundreds of families. What began as a small gathering has grown into a vibrant community experience where families enjoy exciting rides, free food, gifts, and so much more. Thanksmas is more than an event—it’s a day of smiles, connection, and unforgettable memories for students and families across our community.
Kickstart
Kickstart is our annual Back-to-School initiative designed to ensure every student starts the year prepared and confident. Unlike traditional drives that happen before school begins, we wait two weeks into the school year so social workers and counselors can identify students who missed out on other back-to-school events. Once they share the names of students in need, we step in—purchasing and providing brand-new shoes to those who need them most. Kickstart primarily serves Title I schools in Chandler, working closely with educators, families, and administrators to make sure no child is left behind.
Touch a Truck
Touch-a-Truck is one of our most exciting community events, happening on May 2 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Conley Elementary School (500 S Arrowhead Dr, Chandler, AZ 85224). This hands-on experience gives families the chance to get up close with a variety of real vehicles, from fire trucks to waste management trucks and more. Kids can climb inside, explore how they work, and even honk the horn for a full interactive experience.
The event begins with a low sensory hour from 10:00–10:45 AM, offering a quieter environment without sirens. From 10:45 AM–12:00 PM, the trucks come to life with lights and sounds for a more high-energy experience. It’s the perfect way to create fun memories, spark curiosity, and enjoy a unique day out together.
Lunch for Love
Lunch for Love is an annual event where we bring together our partners and donors to celebrate their belief in our mission and their continued support. It’s our way of saying thank you and showing appreciation for the impact they help us create. During this event, we also share exciting plans for the upcoming year, giving them a glimpse of what’s ahead and how their partnership will continue to make a difference.
